Madness or not: start reading my substack, and assess it by yourself; writing this post for posterity.
—> I apologize in advance for the malignant narcisism.
Before all the real madness of covid-19, I was working at my very sucessful first job as a Data-Science consultant, during the last months 2019. During that time, I found out by reading Tolstoy’s work ( the author is in the image above ) that throughout my entire life, I’ve always been seeing people as characters. Since a child, I always knew the exact thing to say in order to manipulate or engraciate myself with other people.
I’ve always heard about the great Leo Tolstoy; but it took me just a few readings of the first chapters of Anna Karenina to realize that I was very much like him; In fact at that company, I could see my boss as a typical horrible disgusting businessman; my colleague as a fair, beautiful and kind princess and my other boss as a vain but wholesome person — I could spend entire paragraphs describing their small details as they perform like realist characters.
Right now, it is my responsibility to start writing, badly or otherwise; about the characters that cross the path of my life, in hopes that this art may be of help to anyone who reads it long after I am dead. I truly write this post down for posterity… If I haven’t achieved any of my utlimate goals: at least I knew for a moment of what I could be capable of.
